Dr. Ramos is a native of Corpus Christi. He earned his Doctor of Optometry from the University of Houston and his Bachelor of Science in BioMedical Science from Texas A&M University- College Station.

Dr. Ramos is one of the first optometrist in Corpus Christi to earn certification with the American Board of Optometry.  He is licensed to practice therapeutic optometry and certified as an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist. Dr. Ramos is President of the Corpus Christi Optometric Society, and an active member of both the Texas Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. His professional achievements and volunteerism were recognized in 2010 by “Corpus Christi Under 40.”
